Investigation in to how different people perceive a journey to the same place differently.
Project Summary
In my investigation I will video the journeys of different people to the same place at different times. The hope of this is to see how a journey is influenced by different factors, including: who the individual is with; the time of day; the weather; other such factors influenced by other people. I will investigate how these factors change an individual's journey. It has occurred to me that a lot of people will avoid certain places as certain times, and it would be interesting to see what stimulates these reactions.
Development
I will film at many different times throughout the term to create a small library of short journey films. I will compare these videos and see how things change throughout the filming time. It may even be interesting to see these displayed together in different windows or even edited together so that the journey stays constant but the time line varies. The idea is not certain yet, some aspects may change; for example it might be a better idea to follow the journey of one individual through the same path at different times.
